How to Convert Metric to Inches

An inch is ever-present in life, from "not being able to see an inch in front of your face" to "being frightened within an inch of your life." The inch is also a basic linear unit in the standard measurement system. The metric system is based on the power of 10s, in which each measurement unit is separated by a full exponential power of 10; for example, a centimeter is 10 times greater than the millimeter. Different units of the metric system can be easily converted to inches by a single conversion constant of varying decimal degrees.
